RICM's Family Gathering December 4-6, 2009 |
This Family Gathering of RICM brought together people from Texas, Illinois, Mississippi, and Iowa. This special weekend is always a time of great worship and fellowship. It is also a time of reflection for the ministry of the past year and offering of special prayers for the year to come. However, we never allow any time to pass without praising the Lord and praying for each other. It was truly a blessed time and one in which everyone present received much from Him. People were asked to write down what RICM has meant to them. All the responses were very specific and personal. Here are four of the responses. 1. RICM introduced me to a brand new life in our Lord through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1982. Endless healings have come to me and my family through the Lord using RICM. The Power of God is manifested through this ministry. 2. RICM has had a dramatic effect on my life. I have been healed spiritually, freed from bondage, and taught how to walk with God, in the Light. I am now able to minister and witness to others. 3. RICM is a place where God shows up regularly and faithfully. His presence is so papable that, regardless of my mindset and emotional state when I first arrive, He gets through to convict, love and heal me. It is a place to truly and fully worship - which is invaluable. 4. The ministry of RICM has given me many opportunities for deeper worship than I've ever experienced elsewhere. It gives an opportunity to continually soften my heart and let Him in more and more. RICM should keep on keeping on!!! |
| Dear Father Gary and Mother Judith, Thank you for this past weekend! It was the most spiritually uplifting time I have ever had in my life! I feel that my eyes and my spirit have been opened at last to a part of Jesus that I was longing and searching for. A new level of glory for me. I told you that's how I met Brenda and Alvin, whom I have admired in the Lord as good people. They always talked about your ministry! They probably even invited me a time or two, but I was so busy raising children, I couldn't hear them let alone take them up on it! So along comes Nate in 2009, a month after my son Jason died. Nate invited me to your weekend after I was introduced to his friends, Mary and Anita. Anyway, small world, and I'd say God has a really good sense of humor. You reflect God's sense of humor really well Father As for me, there was alot of "junk in the trunk" and a broken person who needed healing after my son's death. I knew that I could no longer see the world through the same eyes after Jason died. I felt like a broken piece of pottery on the back porch. Now even the words in the Bible are crystal clear to me! Nate has spiritually stood beside me all of these months and supported me at numerous military functions. I give God and your ministry the credit for the support that I have received during this challenging time in my life. I am so thankful to the Lord that he led me to RICM. It's a perfect fit for me. I wanted you both to know how much I appreciate you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Phil. 1:3-6. Teri |
Columbia Renewal Weekend, August 7-9 |
Our Renewal Weekend at Toddhall on August 7-9, 2009 was very anointed with fantastic praise and worship. Here is a letter from Dana describing her experience. |
| Dear Gary and Judith, I have tried several times to write an e-mail to you after the wonderful weekend in Toddhall to thank you for such an inspirational experience. There are no words to express how much I enjoyed the weekend. It was life-changing for sure!! I came with NO expectations but God worked His way through me in a way I will never forget. How can I? It has changed my life! I, like many, went to the healing weekend, broken and hurt. I came home whole and filled with God's love and presence. My rediscovery of God has made my life better and all of my problems to date have disappeared really. Not only that some great things have been happening! I finally got a job in my field and it will help me help others less fortunate so I feel I am doing a service as well as fulfilling a dream of teaching ESL to adults since I relocated in I know God will bless you in your ministry because of all the people you have touched. I am one witness to your good works and hope to see you again soon. I will be there in December to thank you in person and get another dose of that wonderful spirituality that you so selflessly share. Thank you for an amazing weekend. God bless you.
