It has become the “custom” of RICM, when travelling with a group to the Netherlands, to spend a day in Haarlem visiting the Corrie ten Boom museum. This year was no different. Early Tuesday morning, nineteen of us headed to the Grand Station to catch the train to Haarlem. It was a beautiful, sunny, cool day. The train ride itself was a time of fellowship and just enjoying the scenery. What a wonderful time we had – gathering in the parlour, hearing of Corrie and her family, and singing the song “The Hiding Place”. It was a moving time and many of us were brought to tears. It is always a good thing to remember those men and women of faith who risked their lives for the spread of the Gospel; for living the Good News of Jesus Christ. |
